The Railway Culture Society is an Association established on December 2, 1992, whose goal is to save the multi-generational cultural legacy of Kraków railway workers, including ensuring the continuation of the Railway Culture House in Kraków. KTK finances its cultural mission entirely from its business activities and thanks to the help of the Federation of Railway Workers' Trade Unions, which lent the building at ul. św. Filipa 6 in Kraków. In the implementation of the statutory goals of KTK, a large role is played by the support and cooperation with the authorities of the railway companies and workplaces. The residents of Kraków and the region actively participate in the activities of KTK and DKK, including many railway workers and members of their families, students of current and former railway schools, and railway retirees and pensioners.
Currently, the KTK has 49 members and is managed by the Board composed of:
Kazimierz Jarosz - president
Józef Bylica - vice president and director of the Railway Culture Center
Krystyna Wyłupek - secretary
